Looked and looked for a steering damper for my 2013 1200 ntx Stelvio. No luck and Scott's and GPR said it was to tough !

So I went out to my machine shop and got to work

This is the GPR stabilizer mount I made in my shop. It was a super close fit.

It took a bit to come up with the design . It is very strong and used my modified stock risers.

This is the frame mount for center pin.

The frame mount bolts in three places . Tank bolt and both sides of the frame tube to a plate underneath.

I wanted to be able to remove it easy if needed.

The triple tree center bolt and the two risers are what hold the damper in position.

Due to the fact the risers are tapered I had to machine a flat spot to grab the GPR damper

It was a pain in the ass to make but well worth the effort. I take the Stelvio way off road and it makes the bike handle sand rocks etc much better.
